Athletic Training
Athletic Training Camp July 29-31 (Closed)
The 2007 Student Athletic Training Camp at UW-Whitewater is designed for high school students who are interested in the field of athletic training.
Common athletic injuries will be discussed with an emphasis placed on hands-on assessment and taping techniques. Special topics in athletic training and sports injuries will also be presented.
Camp will begin at 1:30 p.m. on July 29 and will end at 1:00 p.m. on July 31.

Facility
The camp will be held at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. The camp sessions will be held in the newly remodeled classrooms of the Williams Center.
Camp Fees
The resident camp fee is $195. The camp fee includes an individual assessment, t-shirt, and a certificate of attendance, as well as lodging, meals and insurance. The commuter fee is $175 and includes lunch and dinner.
To help with expenses, some previous campers have had part or all of their fees covered by their booster clubs or local hospitals.
Insurance
Each camper will be covered by a group accident insurance policy covering camprelated injuries. The insurance includes primary coverage up to $1000, secondary coverage up to $5000 and $300 maximum dental insurance. Insurance does not cover pre-existing injuries and is for accidents only. The cost of the insurance is included in the registration fee.
