About Treble Clef Festival

The Treble Clef Festival day begins with registration from 8:15-9:00 am. We will warm-up as a group followed by a Parade of Choirs for schools who wish to perform individually (one or two selections, as time allows). A brief clinic and comments by a member of the UW-Whitewater choral faculty will be given immediately after your performance on stage. Individual performances are not required, but encouraged. After lunch we will continue with a rehearsal of the Festival Choir and conclude with a recorded concert of the Festival Choir, finishing at 3:30 p.m.

This year’s festival will once again take place in the Music Department’s Light Recital Hall, one of southern Wisconsin’s finest mid-sized concert halls. As in previous years, outstanding student soloists from your choir will have the opportunity to be coached by UW-W voice faculty. Students who are interested should prepare two selections, one of which must be an art song or aria (any language). There is no separate registration fee for this program, but interested students must fill out a separate Outstanding Soloist Registration form (attached) and return it by February 13.

Registrations will be accepted until the festival is filled. Please return your Festival Registration Form by February 8 to:
