Camp Focus
Junior Hawk Futbol Academy is a first-class soccer academy focused on making you a better, more skillful and disciplined soccer player. Our academy brings year-round elite college level technical & tactical soccer training tailored to your needs and abilities.
- The "Senior Hawk Academy" is open to anyone (boys & girls) that will be attending high school in 2009, and is a great way to be seen by UW-Whitewater's college coaching staff. It is also open to all incoming 2009 college freshmen.
- The "Junior Hawk Academy" is open to all youth soccer players (boys & girls) between the ages of 6 & 14 years of age or anyone that is not entering or in high school.

Junior Hawk Futbol Academy Focus
The first half of every training session is designed to improve individual skills such as passing, shooting, receiving, dribbling & defending techniques. The second half of each session puts players in situations to apply these skills in small-sided and full-sided games.
We will also provide quality goalkeeping instruction as well during our sessions.
Each of our experienced staff members will show the players what it will take to improve their game.
Camp Fee Information
Camps will be conducted at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

What To Bring
Campers should arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of each session dressed and ready. Soccer players are also expected to bring a properly inflated ball, cleats, shin guards, soccer socks and any other soccer equipment they might need. Also be sure to bring water.
Camp Staff
Head Coach Grag Henschel
Greg Henschel is the coordinator of the UW-W men's and women's soccer teams. He served as the men's head coach for the 1999 season on an interim basis, and was named coordinator in June of 2000. In 1999 Henschel directed the men's team to a 14-5-0 record, which was the school record for most wins in a season, with the third best winning percentage (.737) in school history. Under Henschel the ‘99 Warhawks earned a berth in the NCAA III championship tournament, and advanced to the regional championship match and final sixteen teams in the tournament. The 2001 and 2002 Warhawk men's soccer teams also advanced to the final sixteen of the national championship tournament. The ‘02 team chalked up sixteen victories and a .750 winning percentage. The ‘05 season earned a berth in the NCAA III championship tournament and set the highest winning percentage in school history .806, topping the .781 mark by the 1986 team. The total of 14 wins equals the second most in school history, also accomplished in 1999 and eclipsed only by the 16 wins accumulated in 2002. Henschel coached with FC Milwaukee soccer club from 2001-2007 and is the current Director of Coaching for the Oconomowoc Soccer Club. He was an assistant men's coach at his alma mater, UW-Oshkosh, for the 1995 and 1998 seasons. He received a degree in psychology from UW-Oshkosh in 1995. During the 1996 season he was an assistant at Thomas College (GA), where he worked with both the women's and men's teams.
Assistance Coach Ryan Quamme
Quamme, along with being UW-W assistant coach, is currently the Junior Director of Coaching for the Middleton Yahara Soccer Club (MYSC) after having been on staff with MYSC since 1999. He also holds the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Premier Diploma and a Union of European Football Association (UEFA) class ‘B' license.
Assistant Coach Ashley Willich
Ashley Willich is the graduate assistant coach for the UW-W men's and women's soccer teams. Willich began coaching for UW-W in 2006. Willich played collegiate soccer at UW-W from 2002-2006. She graduated with a social work major and a minor in coaching. Currently, she is receiving her Masters in School Counseling from UW-W. During the off season, Willich coaches the junior varsity women's soccer team at Milton High School. This will be her third year as an assistant coach with UW-Whitewater.

Insurance
Each camper will be covered by a limited accident insurance policy. The cost of insurance is included in the registration fee. Precautions will be taken to prevent any accidents, and there will be camp health supervisors available. The insurance includes primary coverage up to $1000, secondary coverage up to $5000, and $300 maximum dental insurance. (Insurance does not cover preexisting injuries and is for camp-related accidents only).
