About the Series
Upon successful completion of the series of 2 sessions, the participant will:
- Learn from a Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP)
- Learn from business practitioners and professionals in the international business
- Become more competent in international trade, conducting research, and the use of collaborative tools
- Be ready to prepare for the NASBITE Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) exam
- Receive a completion certificate
- Receive continuing education credits (CEU’s)
The Global Business Professional Training Series was developed in accordance with NASBITE (North American Small Business International Trade Educators) guidelines for a CGBP credential, a nationally recognized professional credential that demonstrates an individual’s competency in international trade.
This particular training program has been developed with the series of seminars in mind. Each session will take place are on Saturday from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM at University of Wisconsin- Whitewater in 2200 Hyland Hall. It is highly recommended that you register for the series of four seminars in the order they are offered below. However, we do offer each seminar on an individual registration basis.
Cost
Participant cost: $350 per participant per seminar
Register for the series (BOTH Sessions 1&2) for a discounted rate of $650
Seminar cost includes course materials (on a per session basis), lunch, refreshments and computer lab access during session date.
Registration
Class size is limited to 15 participants per seminar.
