for one of the days of the camp season as well as some
additional outstanding guest clinicians that will
be announced prior to the camp.
Campers will receive world class instruction at this summer camp.
Dates and Fees
Rookie Camp
July 8 - 10, 2013 • Recommended for Grades 7-12
Rookie Wrestling Camp is intended for those that are new to the sport of wrestling or are attending a wrestling camp for the first time. This overnight camp assures that campers will not get lost in the numbers and will get individual attention throughout each session the entire camp. The unique part of the UW-Whitewater Rookie Camp is the 4:1 camper-counselor ratio. Campers will be put in groups of four upon arrival and that group will have a counselor with them at all times and at all practice sessions. Limited to 44 Campers

Premier Camp
July 10 - 13, 2013 • Recommended for Grades 7-12
Premier Wrestling is going on its 14th year of helping to bring wrestlers to the “next level!” This overnight camp is intended to help experienced wrestlers advance their skills. The camp will cover multiple areas that are essential to becoming a champion wrestler. The unique part of the UW-Whitewater Premier Camps is the 4:1 camper-counselor ratio. Campers will be put in groups of four upon arrival and that group will have a counselor with them at all times and at all practice sessions. Limited to 88 Campers.

Junior Commuter Camp
July 8 - 10, 2013 • Recommended for Grades K-6
Junior Commuter Camp is a great experience for wrestlers of all levels. This camp is especially great for those who want to learn and refine the fundamental skills and techniques of wrestling and wrestling competition. The camp will focus on developing fundamentally-sound skills. Wrestlers will learn to develop good wrestling habits and develop an interest for the sport of wrestling. This is a commuter camp and parents are welcome to observe or can drop the kids off for the day and pick them up in the afternoon.

Senior Commuter Camp
June 17 - 19, 2013 • Recommended for Grades 7-12
Senior Commuter Camp is a great experience for wrestlers of all levels. This camp is especially great for those who want to advance their skills and techniques of wrestling and wrestling competition. The camp will focus on expanding fundamental wrestling skill and developing sound wrestling habits.
Resident Cost:
$100
Areas covered in our camps include: mental preparation, strength and power-development, implementing new techniques, drilling techniques, situational wrestling, and hard wrestling. The camp is designed so athletes will get plenty of one-on-one instruction. About 2–3 weeks prior to the start of each camp, specific instructions for reporting to camp and what to bring will be sent to participants. The Rookie and Premier Camps fill quickly so be sure to RESERVE YOUR SPOT TODAY.
Camp Staff
Tim Fader, Head Coach Camp Director
Tim Fader is in his eighth year in a program that has grown in numbers and success each year. The Warhawks have had 6 All- Americans and 12 Scholar All-Americans in the past three years. In his 13 years of being the head wrestling coach, Tim has coached 28 All-Americans and 3 NCAA Champions. A graduate of Augustana College (IL), he was a two-time NCAA All-American and twice named Academic All-American by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
Brandon Bradley, Assistant Coach
Brandon Bradley is a graduate assistant working on his masters in Health and Human Performance. He was a four year starter at the University of North Carolina Pembroke and finished as a captain of his team in his senior season. Brandon has spent the past two summers working wrestling camps across the country including the Warhawk Youth and Premier Wrestling camps. Additionally he has taken a group to the Olympic Training Center in Colorado.
Chris Heilman, Head Assistant
Chris Heilman was a four-year letter winner at Cornell and earned All-America honors three times. Heilman spent two years as a high school-level wrestling coach and has been working with Warhawk Wrestling Camps since 2012.
Camps Facilities
The camps will be held in the Williams Center facilities of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, which contains a state-of-the-art training room, weight room, and several thousand square feet of gym space.
Housing & Food
The residence halls are within walking distance of the Williams Center complex and instruction facilities. Campers will be housed two to a room. The dining halls are located in close proximity to the residence halls and serve three well-balanced meals daily to resident campers. Commuters for the Premier Camps will be entitled to lunch and dinner. These meals are included in the camp fee.
What to Bring
About 2–3 weeks prior to the start of each camp, specific instructions for reporting to camp and what to bring will be sent to participants.
Insurance
Each camper will be covered by a group accident insurance policy. The cost of insurance is included in the registration fee. The insurance includes primary coverage up to $7,500 and $300 maximum dental insurance. Insurance does not cover pre-existing injuries and is for accidents only. Every precaution will be taken to prevent accidents. The Warhawk Wrestling Camps will have a camp health supervisor available.
