About The Clinic
This clinic is great for those who want to advance their skills and techniques in wrestling and wrestling competition. The clinic will focus on expanding fundamental wrestling skills and developing sound wrestling habits. Areas covered in this clinic include: mental preparation, strength and power development, implementing new techniques, drilling techniques, situational wrestling and hard wrestling. The clinic is designed so athletes will get plenty of one-on-one instruction.
Clinic Dates
The clinic will be held every Monday and Wednesday from 5:15-6:30p.m. for six consecutive weeks. Clinic will begin Wednesday, November 7 and will run through Monday, December 17. Clinic will be held in the Williams Center.
Fees and Insurance
$90 - 12 Sessions OR $20 - Per Session at the Door
Wrestlers will have the opportunity to pre-register and attend all twelve sessions for $90 or can elect to pay $20 per session at the door. Each wrestler will be covered by a group accident insurance policy. The cost of insurance is included in the registration fee. The insurance includes primary coverage up to $7,500 and $300 maximum dental insurance. Insurance does not cover pre-existing injuries and is for accidents only. Every precaution will be taken to prevent accidents.
Our Staff
Ryan Woods is seeking his Masters Degree in Health and Human Performance from UW-Whitewater. He has focused his undergraduate studies in Sport and Fitness Management at UW-Parkside. Woods is a 4-year letter winner for UW-Parkside. Originally from Green Bay, WI, Ryan spent one year as an assistant coach at UW-Parkside which finished 6th in NCAA DII in 2012. He also was the head coach of the Kenosha Wrestling Club.
Ryan will be joined by former and current Warhawk Wrestlers as well as members of the current Warhawk Wrestling Coaching Staff.
