ATTENTION:

The College of Business and Economics, Department of Accounting seeks full-time lecturers in accounting for the academic year 2018-2019, commencing August 2018.

JOB DETAILS:

The Department of Accounting at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater is seeking highly motivated professionals in the field of Accounting for academic staff positions. These are full-time renewable nine-month appointments commencing in August 2018. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. Areas of teaching may include any area of accounting, depending on the needs of the department. Courses will only be taught in the undergraduate program. We offer courses in financial, managerial and tax accounting, accounting systems, auditing, nonprofit accounting, and accounting technology. Teaching load is 4 classes per semester. Office hours and service commitments are also required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must have a Master’s Degree in accounting or a related field and professional experience in accounting. Preferred qualifications include professional licensure (e.g. CPA or CMA) and prior teaching experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include teaching four courses per semester in our undergraduate program and providing service to the department and the college. On campus and online teaching are both possible.
