The Intercollegiate Athletics Department at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater seeks an Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing & Corporate Relations (Marketing Specialist).

Under the direction of the Director of Athletics, the Assistant Athletic Director – Marketing and Corporate Relations will support and enhance the mission of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Athletic Department.  The primary function of the Assistant Director for Marketing and Corporate Relations is to promote the athletics program at UW-Whitewater; solicit corporate sponsorships and ticket revenue as a means to accomplish these functions; and to sponsor or host activities designed to enhance the athletic department while providing alumni, sponsors, and fans a vehicle to remain loyal to the Warhawks and build the brand of UW-Whitewater Athletics. 

  • Bachelor's degree;
  • Minimum of two years of corporate/ticket sales or marketing experience;
  • Supervisory experience of employees and/or interns/student workers.

The Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Corporate Relations will oversee the process of identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of corporate sponsor and season/group ticket prospects for identified priorities of the Athletic Department. This position will act on behalf of the UW-Whitewater Athletic Department in accordance with the department, university, conference, and NCAA regulations. Additionally, will act as the primary liaison and caretaker of the Team Warhawk corporate sponsorship platform, its mission, fulfillment obligations, and budgeting. This individual will serve on various committees on behalf of the department, secure sponsorship revenue and season/group ticket buyers by researching, identifying, cultivating, and soliciting alumni and friends of the university.  This position will also help with the creation of several graphic design projects during the year.

Other administrative duties and a leadership role may be taken on by this position at certain times at the discretion of the Director of Athletics.
