Position:  The Alumni and Development Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and planning various programs, events, meetings and initiatives to develop and enhance the mutually beneficial relationships between the UW – Whitewater and its alumni.  Responsibilities include managing a wide array of events and programs including regional alumni events, stewardship events, Alumni Mentor Program, Homecoming and Golf Outing. The Coordinator teams with a co-coordinator and assistant to collaborate in the creation and editing of proposals and other materials, as well as arranging all details concerning events. Other elements of the position include segmentation of data, procurement of supplies, and hiring and management of support staff.

Qualifications:  The ideal candidate will possess integrity, strong written and oral communication skills, event planning experience, multi-tasking abilities and a strategic mind. The position involves some evening and weekend work. A bachelor’s degree and three to five years of progressively responsible professional experience in alumni relations, event planning, marketing, or a related field, is required. 

Salary:  Low-to-mid forties
