Media Arts and Game Development

Description:  The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater College of Arts and Communication is now accepting applications for a tenure-track assistant professor to teach in the Media Arts and Game Development Program (MAGD).   Expectations include teaching at least one of following: Introduction to Media Arts and Game Development, Flash Development, Web Development, Interactive media, Visual Web Design.  Advising students and conducting scholarly research and/or professional growth are also expected  Minimum Requirements: Terminal Degree in Instructional Media or Web Design and Development or related field. Training, education, and teaching experience in game development or visual design preferred.  Salary is dependent upon qualifications and experience.

Program:  MAGD is an innovative interdisciplinary program that emphasizes the use of digital technology for the conceptualization and development of computer based multi-media applications.
