Assistant Professor for Professional Writing and Publishing

Position: The Department of Languages and Literatures at The University of Wisconsin – Whitewater is hiring for a tenure track position in its flourishing Professional Writing and Publishing program. We seek a specialist in digital rhetoric and writing to develop courses in electronic media writing and visual literacy. Experience in publication design and production is a plus.
Twelve-hour teaching load per semester, beginning August 20, 2014.
Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in related studies by date of appointment. Also required are demonstrated potential for excellence in undergraduate teaching, especially working with traditionally underrepresented groups, and an active research agenda leading to scholarly publication.
