Description: The Department of Mathematical and Computer Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater invites applications for two full-time tenure track faculty positions in Mathematical and Computer Sciences beginning August 21, 2013. Responsibilities include teaching 12 undergraduate credits per semester in computer science in support of the department’s programs, maintaining an active program of scholarly development, and participating in service activities. Experience with grant writing is a plus.
Starting Date: 8/21/2013
Qualifications: An earned doctorate in computer science or ABD with expectation of completion by August 21, 2013 is required. Preference may be given to individuals with expertise in Software Engineering, Computer Graphics, Databases, or Networking and Security.

General Information: The UW-Whitewater Department of Mathematical and Computer Sciences offers a range of undergraduate programs in computer science, mathematics and mathematics education. In addition, the department also lends support to a new Media Arts and Game Development major. There are currently 42 faculty and academic staff in the department.
