Corporate and Health Communication Faculty

Department of Communication

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Department of Communication seeks applications for a 9-month, full-time, tenure-track appointment at the assistant professor level for a candidate with expertise in Corporate and/or Health Communication to teach and conduct research in our new Corporate and Health Communication major.  Starting date is August 2013.

Duties will include teaching courses in the Corporate and Health Communication area both at the undergraduate and graduate levels; assisting with the department’s curricular and assessment efforts in Corporate and Health Communication and in forwarding the graduate program; conducting outreach to healthcare and community organizations.

Minimum qualifications for the position are: ABD in relevant PhD in Corporate or Health Communication, Organizational Communication or related Communication area.  The successful candidate will have a proven record of teaching competence and the potential to be a productive scholar.

The successful candidate will have academic experiences with culturally diverse populations and experience with a variety of teaching methods.
