Qualifications: Masters degree in Anthropology, PhD preferred. Experience with undergraduate teaching required.

Responsibilities: Part-time Lecturer in Cultural Anthropology to begin 8/22/2012.  Area of need is to teach a course on Culture and Medicine. Teaching interests that includes the Latino experience in the U.S. with connections to Latin America is desirable.  UWW is an EO/AA employer. University: UW-Whitewater is a premier public regional university with an enrollment of 11,400 students in 48 undergraduate and 12 master’s degree programs. It offers high quality, career-oriented programs integrated with a model general education curriculum. The institution is part of the 26-campus University of Wisconsin System.

Community: Whitewater, a city with a population of over 14,000 is located in southeastern Wisconsin near the scenic Kettle Moraine State Forest.  The immediate area offers a wide variety of summer and winter recreational activities, including facilities of the nearby Whitewater Lake recreational area.  Whitewater is 50 miles from Milwaukee, 45 miles from Madison and 110 miles from Chicago.
