This position is located at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Facilities, Planning & Management.  This is a full time, year round position, working Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm.

This position requires responsible level facilities repair and maintenance work and customer services to faculty, staff, students, and public using the buildings in FP&M’s academic zone. This position will perform a variety of tasks of a semi-skilled nature and will perform limited trades work below the journeyman level. 

Work is performed under the general supervision of the Zone Buildings and Grounds Supervisor.

All duties are performed in accordance with FP&M beliefs and values and in support of the Zone mission. This position is full time, 40 hours per week. Regular attendance is an essential function. The person holding this position must possess a valid driver’s license and qualify for state vehicle operation. This position is classified at Level 2 for risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, standing for long periods, stooping, needling and walking significant distances.
Knowledge:  must have basic understanding of construction practices and tools.
Ability to perform limited trades work below the journeyman level.
