POOL SEARCH: INTERIM MUSIC STUDIO, ENSEMBLE, AND CLASSROOM POSITIONS

Position: The UW-Whitewater Department of Music invites applications for an on-going pool of qualified interim instructors to teach full or part-time, according to needs of the department.  The department invites applicants qualified to teach in all studio areas, vocal and instrumental, vocal and instrumental ensembles, and classroom (Music History, Music Theory, Aural Skills, Class Piano, Music Education, and/or interdisciplinary arts).

Rank and Salary: Adjunct Instructor or Academic Staff, according to the needs of the Department.  Salary is competitive and negotiable.

Qualifications: Earned master’s degree in Music or related field; previous successful college/university teaching experience.

Application: To be considered for this pool, the candidate must submit a letter of application, together with a list of at least current three references and a complete vita. Department of Music: The Department of Music, with over 150 music majors, 75 music minors, and 30 full or part time faculty, is a division of the College of Arts and Communication, and is a fully accredited member of NASM.   The Department offers Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Music degrees with emphases in Music Education, Performance, and History/Theory, as well as a Music Minor and Music Certificates.
