TENURE-TRACK FACULTY POSITION
Description: The Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminal Justice at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position. The teaching of Sociological Theory and Principles of Sociology are the Department’s primary areas of need. Other Department needs include family, health and illness, demography, and gender. Candidates will be expected to teach, contribute to department and university service, publish scholarly works, and seek grants as appropriate. Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff with diverse backgrounds is expected.
Starting Date: August 24, 2009
Qualifications: Ph.D. in Sociology required by start of position. Prior teaching experience is strongly preferred.
Rank: Assistant Professor
Salary: Dependent on qualifications and experience.
