Marketing - Assistant Professor

The Department of Marketing at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater invites applications for a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor of Marketing.  Preference will be given to candidates with strong quantitative skills and a record of excellence in teaching and publication, although all candidates will be considered.  Starting date is January 2011.   

 

The candidate will teach undergraduate and MBA courses in marketing and should have the ability and desire to teach some combination of the following classes: Customer Relationship Management, Database Management, and Advanced Statistical Methods. The successful candidate must demonstrate potential to be an outstanding teacher, productive scholar and active contributor of professional, university, and community service.  Experience advising student organizations is preferred.  Promotion will be based on a balanced commitment to teaching, research and service.  Opportunities for reduced teaching load, summer support, online teaching and travel support exist; grant writing will also be rewarded.  

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Ph.D. in Marketing from an AACSB accredited institution.
