ANNOUNCEMENT OF PART-TIME ACADEMIC STAFF POSITION FOR 2011 FALL SEMESTER

Position: The department of History at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater seeks a part-time lecturer to teach two sections of Western Civilization 154 in the Fall 2011 semester. The qualified candidate will be a proficient teacher with teaching and research experience in relevant fields. Secondary preparation in modern world history is an advantage.

Qualifications: ABD or PhD in history

Starting Date: August 24, 2011

Rank and Salary: Part-time Lecturer; salary dependent on qualifications and experience

A complete application packet consists of a letter of application, curriculum vitae, three letters of recommendation, statement of teaching philosophy, evidence of teaching effectiveness (peer and student evaluations as available), and copies of graduate transcripts.
