UW-WHITEWATER CONTINUALLY ACCEPTS LIMITED TERM EMPLOYMENT (LTE) APPLICATIONS

Temporary employees (LTE's) are hired frequently to fill maintenance, custodial, clerical, grounds, information technology, graphic design, and a variety of other professional positions. Rates of pay will vary depending on the classification of the position.

Full-time students may not eligible for Limited Term Employment.

Per Wisconsin State Statute, LTE employees must be residents of Wisconsin. Residents of other states may not be hired as LTE employees.

CUSTODIANS perform general housekeeping tasks and snow & ice removal in and around academic buildings and residence halls. Qualifications include the ability to work with a minimum of supervision. Ability to lift a maximum weight of 50 pounds is required. Positions are full-time and part-time with various shift schedules.

OFFICE SUPPORT STAFF may serve as receptionist, prepare documents and reports, and perform secretarial and administrative support duties in academic and administrative departments. Qualifications vary with the position but may include: knowledge of office machines and equipment; typing ability; and knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and data base software.
