    2. Faculty Senate Executive Committee: Resolved that the Faculty Senate form an ad hoc task force to study the role and power of women in faculty governance.
      1. that the task force include
        1. three faculty representing at least two constituencies, chosen immediately upon the Senate's approval of this resolution in caucus of Senators representing constituencies; and
        2.  two Senators at large, chosen immediately upon the Senate's approval of this resolution, either by unanimous consent or by signed ballot; and
      2. that the task force's charge include
        1. comparing the roles and power of women in faculty governance at UWW to roles and power of women in faculty governance at other UW institutions; and
        2. analyzing the number and roles of women in faculty governance, including Senate and faculty committees (perhaps at University, College and even department levels); and
        3. identifying strengths and problems affecting the roles and power of women in faculty governance; and
        4. suggesting potential solutions to problems affecting the roles and power of women in faculty governance; and
      3. that the task force present its initial report at the Feb. 3, 2004 Faculty Senate, thereby helping the Senate representative to the Chancellor's task force on diversity (Geethamali Samaranayake) prepare for her Feb. 11 presentation on women in faculty governance; and
      4. that the task force also make recommendations for further study to the newly-created and now-forming Faculty Diversity Committee.
    3. Intercollegiate Athletics Committee: request for Senate discussion of suggested revisions to IAC membership (see the attached draft functions of IAC).
    4. Senate ad hoc committee to examine the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) and Faculty Survey of Student Engagement (FSSE) data: request for Senate discussion
