  1. Call to Order:  Chair Erdmann called the meeting to order at 2:18 p.m.

Strategic Planning and Budget Committee (http://www.uww.edu/uwwhdbk/committees/ac-spbc.htm): Chancellor Saunders has charged the SPBC to plan given the results of her surveys and interviews regarding our campus's strengths and hopes.  By college, the Senate's appointed faculty representatives (three-year terms) are:
        1. Arts and Communication: Peter Smudde, to the end of the 2005_2006 academic year
        2. Business and Economics: James Bronson to the end of the 2005_2006 academic year
        3. Letters and Sciences: David Travis to the end of the 2006-2007 academic year
        4. Education: Brenda Clayton to the end of the 2006-2007 academic year

        1. Chair discussed Senate Bill 452 relating to collective bargaining rights.
        2. Chair directed members to a packet, attached to agenda, giving information about to TABOR.
        3. Chair discussed his conversation with Prof. Walter Dickey, UW Law School Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, who is on the ad hoc Regents' committee working on "expedited" disciplinary procedures for faculty charged with felonies.
