FS0506-2 09/13/05: at the request of the Registrar and Calendar Committee, approved the starting date of the 2006 winterim academic term (http://www.uww.edu/registrar/calendar/2005-06%20Academic%20Calendar.doc); chancellor approved 10/03/05.
FS0506-3 09/13/05: approved the Faculty Personnel Rules Committees revisions; the renaming of the Faculty Appeals and Grievances Committee, added rules affecting initial faculty appointments to those who have not completed a terminal degree for faculty hired to begin Spring semester, authorized depts to chose one or two year renewal of probationary faculty, specified chancellors responsibilities in reappointment, tenure and/or probation, indicated procedures for the authorized reconsideration and appeal of a chancellors decision not to reappoint or grant tenure; rules affecting initial faculty appointments not approved by UW system council; the other rules approved by the Board of Regents 8/18/06.
