The December 6, 2012, meeting was called to order at 2:18 p.m. by Dean John Stone.

Manuel Ossers moved, with a second by Glenn Hayes, to approve the minutes of the November 1, 2012 meeting. With no comments or corrections, the motion carried.

Announcements

    1. In the near future, UW-Whitewater will explore using Graduate Instructional Assistants, as is the case with some other system comprehensive campuses. More information to come as we learn what we can or can't do.
    2. February 15, 2013, is the application deadline for 2013-14 graduate assistantship positions.

Mark Schroeder moved, with a second by Sarah Hessenauer, to approve agenda item U. The change in the MBA matches what other schools are offering for the MBA. The motion carried.

Next, Will Drago moved to approve the new Graduate Business Foundations certificate program in the College of Business and Economics. Paul Ambrose seconded the motion. The motion was approved

Glenn Hayes moved, with a second by Carol Normand, to approve a new prefix ITSCM. Motion carried. Also, new prefix CIBME was unanimously approved on a John Zbikowski/Will Drago motion.


With no further discussion, Manuel Ossers moved, with a second by Will Drago, to adjourn the meeting. The meeting adjourned at 2:40 p.m.
