Certificate in Teaching in Alternative Education Settings Program
The TAES Program will assist licensed teachers and other professionals working with youth in recognizing and developing the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary to work in alternative educational settings. This on-line program consists of a sequence of four two-credit courses and a one-credit field-based experience. The program is designed so that participants can complete their program over one academic year or during the 12-week summer session.

Additional Admission Requirements:
Applicants must hold or be eligible for a regular license in the State of Wisconsin for teaching in public schools.
CERTIFICATE IN TEACHING IN ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION SETTINGS PROGRAM:

- SECNDED 707 FORMAL AND INFORMAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS
- SECNDED 708 THE MARGINALIZED LEARNER
- SECNDED 709 LEARNING AND TEACHING FOR EMPOWERMENT
