Critical Incident Stress De-briefing Team (CISD) campus staff, faculty, students and members of the community participate in the CISD team. Team conducts de-briefings on and off campus

UW-W is a reporting site for communicable diseases UHCS reports to the Wisconsin State Lab

UHCS and Whitewater Family Practice (local clinic) borrow materials from each other (i.e. flu vaccine) if one is short. In order to serve those most in need.

Leadership Development partners with Lincoln Elementary School to sponsor the Adopt-A-School tutoring program. UW-W students volunteer weekly at the school throughout the year

Off-Campus employers participate in the annual Job Fair - held on campus in September

Resident Assistants participate in a community service activity called "Taking it to the Streets." 135 RA's go to 8 agencies in Milwaukee to participate in a day of service.

Live & Learn student community partners with the Jefferson County Literacy Council to provide reading tutoring to area youth

New Student Seminar (Spring 2005) - Living & Learning Community participating in a Pilot Family Literacy Program, with the Jefferson County Literacy Program.

Leadership Development involves community members on the Greek Standards of Excellence Review Board. This Board evaluates each Greek chapter.
