Message from the Director

Welcome to the UW-Whitewater Honors Program

September 2016

2016-17 marks my third year as the Director of the University Honors Program. I’m excited about the enhancements we’ve made to the program and the prospect of additional enhancements in the future.

This year the UHP will engage the campus in a yearlong conversation featuring these questions: “What do we want the University Honors Program to be on our campus? What is our vision for the future of the UHP?“ I invite all faculty, staff, and students to join us in this conversation.

For new and current Honors students, there are many ways to get involved in the program, including enrolling in Honors courses, completing Honors-Option Projects, and participating in many co-curricular and extracurricular activities, including joining the Honors Student Association (HSA). I encourage you to get involved!

Finally, stop by the Honors Program Office, 2115 Andersen Library, to introduce yourself, to touch base, and/or to problem-solve an Honors-related issue. My door is always open to you!

Yours in Honors,

Elizabeth Kim
