The University Honors Program works closely with the Center For Global Education office to help students explore their possibilities of studying in another country or region. There is financial support available to Honors students who study abroad under a formal structure such as a Study Abroad Program, a language institute, or a supervised internship.
Limit: One Study Abroad Award per student.
Applications will be reviewed by the Honors Council.
The due dates are:
October 15th for programs undertaken in the spring, winterim or a year-long program that begins in the spring and ends in the fall.
April 1st for programs undertaken in the summer, fall or a year-long program that begins in the fall and ends in the spring.
To apply for financial support:
An Honors-Option project may be undertaken in a course at a Study Abroad Institution.
