The Director of University Housing plans and directs the administrative operation, financial affairs, and programmatic aspects of University Housing, including room assignments, support services, staffing and training, educational programming, facility renovation, policy/procedure development and directly supervises central office management team. Administratively reports to the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs.

Manages the buildings, grounds and custodial operations, including construction projects. Direct involvement in the creation and oversight of maintenance, custodial and grounds budget and also acts as the University Housing, Building Supervisor.


Assistant Director - Residential Operations

The Assistant Director for Residential Operations is responsible for the room assignments operation, various aspects of residential services, oversight of the summer camp & conference program, and the billing/accounts receivable component of the office. The Assistant Director also develops and maintains the student data files (computer and hard copy). Specific functions include coordinating room changes, room reapplication, housing contract appeal process, bike lockers, guest & vacation housing, summer camps & conferences, temporary housing, Goodhue reception area, mail forwarding, and package distribution. The Assistant Director supervises several student workers and Classified Associates.

The Assistant Director for Community Development supervises the Complex Directors and Assistant Director staff of Wells East, Wells West, and the Tutt/Fischer complex. She provides coordination for overall community development throughout the residence halls including, but not limited to common area damage, sustainability, and wellness initiatives. She serves as primary administrator of University Housing conduct matters, advises the Student Conduct Hearing Board, and supervises the AODA Peer Educator team as well.

The Assistant Director for Staff & Academic Development supervises four Complex Directors and Assistant Complex Directors. Provides coordination for the overall student staff development programming efforts. Coordinates Resident Assistant staff selection, training, and development, and assists with the overall residence hall staffing operations. Assists Complex Directors and Assistant Complex Directors with issues pertaining to Resident Assistants. Coordinates designated staff training and development.

Supervise full-time Complex Directors, the Residential Learning Advisor (Graduate Assistant) one intern and subordinate staff in a designate residence hall area. Provide University Housing's coordination for the Learning Community Program, oversee the advising of NRHH & RHA, including co-advising. This position will also coordinate many of University Housing's Equity and Inclusion initiatives such as coordinate the Diversity Advocate program, including selecting, training and supervising the DA's, as well as coordinating the diversity related program curriculum and the Global Village.

The UWWTV Program Director is Responsible for coordinating the planning, production scheduling and promotion of Cable Programming. Supervises student technical staff. Produces and directs projects for on and off campus clients.


Residential Learning Advisor


@uww.edu

Co-advises the student conduct board, oversees the Leadership Involvement Team process, and co-advise the Residence Hall Association. The Residential Learning Advisor will work closely with the Residential Education central staff members to create a living/learning community that embraces pluralism and promotes academic success.
