Get Connected
To access the wireless network, a computer needs to be equipped with a wireless network card. Most newer laptops will come with a built-in wireless card. If yours does not have a built-in card, an external wireless card will be needed. An external card can purchased from most electronic/computer stores. The important thing is to make sure that the card is 802.11a/g/n or 802.11g/n compatible.
See How to Connect for detailed instructions to connect to the UW-Whitewater wireless network.
