UW-Whitewater Wireless

UWW is proud to offer free access to its wireless network to all students, faculty, staff and emeriti with a valid Net-ID. All you need is a laptop computer or PDA with a WiFi certified 802.11b/g or 802.11a/b/g wireless network card. If your computer does not have a built-in wireless network card, you should purchase a WiFi certified 802.11b/g or 802.11a/b/g wireless network card. We recommend Linksys or Cisco brands. (Learn more about how to connect to the UWW Wireless network.)

The network provides 802.11b/g/a wireless access to the Internet and UWW campus applications available through a web browser. These applications include Outlook Web Access, D2L, and WINS. Additional applications are being considered for inclusion in the future.

Wireless Network Access Locations

Wireless access is available in many locations throughout campus: just look for the UW-Whitewater Wireless pennants.
