Don't Trust Email Greeting Cards
The latest form of Internet spam has been making the rounds in the form of greeting cards and e-postcards delivered by email. If you receive an email with a subject line such as "You've received a greeting ecard from a family member!" or schoolmate, classmate, neighbor, best friend, etc., it is best to delete it. Most importantly, do not click on any links within the message, or you may cause a virus to be downloaded to your computer, with negative consequences. As spam filters continue to improve, so do the techniques used by the spammers to avoid detection. Therefore, it is also important to be alert and cautious when responding to email from an unknown source.
