Portable Storage
For portable storage, use USB flash memory or CDs. Do not use floppy or ZIP disks.
USB flash drives are superior to floppy disks for storing and transporting your files. While floppy disk are easily damaged by dust, moisture and magnetic fields, or by being dropped or crushed, USB flash drives are much more durable and are ideal for keeping in your backpack, bag or on your keyring. USB flash drives also have a much larger capacity than floppy disks, ranging from a few megabytes (MB) to a few gigabytes (GB), meaning you can save more, and larger, files at once. USB flash drives are available from many retailers.
