Office 2007 Work At Home Media
UW-W faculty and staff may obtain Office 2007 media for installation on personally-owned (home) computers under the campus site license agreement. These special CD media, identified as Work At Home (WAH) media, are distributed through the iCIT Helpdesk upon request.
To obtain the Office 2007 media for work at home use, come to the Helpdesk in L2000, bring your UW-W ID to confirm faculty/staff status, and sign the Work at Home Acceptance Form for Microsoft’s licensing requirements. You are entitled to one copy of the media only.
The WAH media may be installed multiple times on a single computer, or on a second computer for backup purposes. After installation, an activation process must be completed to ensure ongoing functionality of the software; instructions are included with the media.
The WAH media should not be used for installation on UW-W office computers (university-owned). Instead, you may request installation of Office 2007 through the Helpdesk, for installation of the software for campus use without the WAH activation restrictions.
Previous Office Versions: The Helpdesk also has previous Office version CDs available for check out for home installation.
