Asynchronous Delivery Via WWW and the Internet
The Desire2Learn (D2L) learning management system is used for web-based enhancements of face-to face courses, and to deliver instruction fully online. D2L is available for general use by all faculty and staff. D2L provides users with a virtual space organized according to the course metaphor, thus making it simple to use for both faculty and students.
In addition, a number of other Web-based and Internet distance education products are supported including web sites and class storage, email, and Internet "listservs." Each of these technologies allow instructors and students to converse and share information with each other on a time-independent basis.
Contact the Learning Technology Center (McGraw Hall Suite 120, 262-472-1004) regarding the use of these online course management tools or about other online instructional resources and services.
