Title III Instructional Technology Workshops
Introduction
2004-2005
In Fall 1999 UWW obtained a Department of Education Title III grant in the amount of 1.75 million dollars. Two major activities defined the scope of this award:
- Activity I was entitled "Enhance Institutional Management." Its primary concern focused on the implementation of PeopleSoft Shared Financials and the Student Administration System.
- Activity II, "Establishing a Technology Infrastructure for Learning," supplemented the campus backbone upgrade to gigabit Ethernet and provided faculty development support in instructional technology.
Instructional Technology Services has the responsibility for the faculty and staff development aspect of of Activity II. The two major areas of Activity II are (1) training and conference support, and (2) a series of intensive instructional technology workshops. In the current year, fifteen stipends up to $1,000 each will be awarded under Training and Conference Support. Two workshops will be held on campus in July, 2005.
Instructional faculty and staff are encouraged to apply for both areas of Activity II. Further details about each are available through the links in the menu to the right.
