The technology in this room is controlled via the CRESTRON AV Control Monitor located on top of the desk. To start using the room follow the instructions below:

1. Touch the CRESTRON Touch Panel screen to start a session in the room.

2. Touch [Video or Computer] button to select the video source you want to use.

3. The projector will automatically turn on and the screen lower

Showing the Computer

On the Crestron Touch Panel menu, press the [PC] button.

Showing a DVD

On the Crestron Touch Panel, press the [PC] button. Insert the DVD in the Drive. Click on Media Players folder on the desktop. Click on PowerDVD icon in the folder to show the DVD.

Showing a Video (VCR)

Place the videotape in the VCR Touch the [VCR] button on the Crestron Touch Panel menu. A menu of VCR controls will appear in the Crestron Touch Panel [#] [>] [||] [<<] [>>] Touch the [>] to play the tape. You can control all VCR playback functions as well as the volume from the Crestron Touch Panel menu.

 Showing a Document (Document Camera / ELMO)

On the Crestron Touch Panel, press [DOC CAM] button. The document camera power will automatically turn on. In some rooms you may have to power on the document camera manually. Place the object to be shown on the unit. Observer the image on the screen and adjust size, focus, lights, etc using the fron panel buttons on the Document Camera.

Showing a Laptop Computer

Connect the laptop: plug the cables on the top of the desk into the corresponding ports (video, ethernet, and audio) located on the back or sides of the laptop. The laptop must have a resolution of 1024x768 or lower Touch the [LAPTOP] button on the Crestron Touch Panel menu.

4. You can use the [VOLUME CONTROL] button to control the volume.

5. When you are finished:

Touch [EXIT] Touch [YES] to turn off all equipment The overhead projector will turn off. The screen will come up The computer will remain on.

Notes

Note: to use a laptop, plug the cables on the top of the desk into the corresponding ports (video, ethernet, and audio) located on the back or sides of the laptop.

Note: To change Room settings such as, Drapes, Lights and Screen, press ROOM button.

A menu will appear with settings for Drapes, lights and Projector Screen Height. Simply press the appropriate controls to changes settings. AV mode for lights will change settings appropriately for use of AV equipment.

Turning Projector ON/OFF: Press button labeled PROJ on screen. ON and OFF buttons will appear for projector.

Sharp 920 VCR

Description
To view your VHS tape insert it into the player and the tape will automatically begin playing. Be sure to select the appropriate source so that the image is displayed on the overhead projector. Please refer to the overhead projector instructions on how to accomplish this.

Description

To use the Document Camera follow these instructions:

1. Turn Computer On.

2. Turn Projector On.

3. Turn Document Camera on by pressing the GREEN power button. 

4. Press "LAMP" on the Document camera to turn on the side lamps. Press "LAMP" a second time to turn on the base lamp for transparencies. Press "LAMP" one more time to turn all lamps off.
