The Learning Technology Center is a faculty technology development and support center with dedicated staff and student assistants to serve the instructional technology needs of the faculty and instructional staff both in the classroom and in online courses.
The mission of LTC is to provide consultation and production assistance to teaching faculty and staff on incorporating appropriate technology in their courses to enhance learning. The LTC manages the web-based Course Management System, currently Desire2Learn for campus web enhanced, hybrid and online courses. Exploration and experimentation with emerging technology with the potential of affecting positive impact in teaching and learning are also primary activities of the center.
The LTC offers technology workshops on a regular basis throughout the year. For more information on our current and future workshops, see LTC Workshops. One on one consultation or training can also be arranged. Faculty and teaching staff are welcome to drop in or make an appointment to discuss your technology needs in teaching, research or grant proposals.
The LTC is a division of iCIT.
