I can't watch the PowerPoints in my course because they take too long to download.

If an instructor has a PowerPoint in a course larger than 3 or 4 MB, it may take a long time to download if you have a slow internet connection, such as a dial-up connection. Let your instructor know of your problem as soon as possible. There are things instructors can do to decrease the size of PowerPoints so that this is less of a problem. Instructors can also save their PowerPoints as PDF files, which can be viewed with the free Adobe Reader.
