When I log into D2L a pop up about ActiveX Control appears repeatedly.

A new software update released by Microsoft in April may cause your computer to behave differently when you are using D2L in Internet Explorer ("IE").

When in D2L, some events, such as a Pager message waiting (the blinking green icon on the upper right corner) may ask you if it is ok to run an ActiveX object. Just click 'OK'.

If a presentation, Flash video or other file does not appear to be responding with the normal mouse click, click again. You may see a prompt to 'Click to Activate and Use Control'. Click once, then click as you normally would.
