Collaborative Learning Space
Project Overview
Recent research data has shown that the current generation of students exhibits a different approach to learning: their learning style is very much peer-to-peer, and of a collaborative nature. In response to this need, iCIT created group work spaces with wireless internet access, a computer workstation, projectors and smart boards.
Timeline
Phase 1 – Fall 2006- iCIT constructed Collaborative learning spaces in the Andersen General Access Lab.
- Additional Collaborative workspaces were added in other campus areas, including Library and McGraw General Access Lab.
