Data Center Renovation Phase 1
Project Overview
The campus data center is being renovated in order to separate people and equipment to allow for better functioning of data services on campus. The new data center will be able to be better managed physically and will be more stable for campus operations.
Benefits
- The center will be renovated to create a more secure and stable environment for the network
- The timeline is over a course of years to ensure minimal to no disruption of campus services
Timeline
Phase I was completed during summer 2008. The final completion of the renovation is not planned until 2010-2011.
