Student Response System
Project Overview
The Learning Technology Center participated in a collaborative project with UWM, UWEC, and UWO to explore the impact of “SRS-clickers” on teaching and learning. The devices allow students to press a button on a wireless, hand-held device to answer instructor questions in real time. The computer records and/or displays the response for the class as the instructor desires. The research study found positive results for instructors who wanted to use the clicker system. They continue to be used and training is available for other instructors who wish to learn how to integrate interactive devices into their classes.
