What is Remote Access?
Around the world or down the street, remote access provides a gateway to the same network resources as if you were using your computer on campus. While the campus network infrastructure is being made more secure from internet virus and worm attacks, remote access allows users to gain access to campus services while maintaining the security of the system for both users and the network. One of most useful connections will be to Microsoft Outlook, allowing you to synchronize your email and calendar from home and on campus.
How Do I Get Remote Access?
Users will need to download software from https://www.uww.edu/common/docs/helpdesk/vpn/. A valid campus net-id and password are required to gain access.
