Voice Over IP (VoIP)
UW-Whitewater is currently engaged in a State of Wisconsin enterprise VoIP pilot with the Department of Administration. The purpose of this pilot is to test additional functionality that can be obtained with VoIP. Facility staff across campus are participating in a study that will determine if the added functionality of VoIP improves business processes and productivity by creating a unified communication/access solution for all facilities staff. Currently, the pilot is limited to facilities personnel. Other users should continue to use Centrex services provided by AT&T.
