Document Imaging (ImageNow)

ImageNow is a document imaging and management tool that allows UW-Whitewater Colleges and Departments to capture, organize and manage data as a supplement to the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, ­ WINS, and Shared Financials System (SFS). ImageNow is being used to capture documents related to Enrollment and Retention, Financial Services, and Human Resources. Many departments are also using workflow to automate current manual processes by reengineering the day-to-day business operations.

In addition to the electronic storage capabilities, ImageNow offers a powerful workflow component that can be used to process documents "electronically." Workflow can be set up to map any paper process -- no matter how simple or complex -- making business routines more streamlined, more accurate and faster.
