Dear Faculty and Staff,
As previously communicated, UW System and Adobe entered into Enterprise Term License Agreement (ETLA) enabling Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) software to be installed on University-owned office, lab and classroom computers (including PCs and Macs). This contract does not include tablets or mobile devices. Majority of labs and classrooms were installed with Adobe software over Winterim (Creative Cloud Design & Web Premium Bundle).
Adobe now available for self-install ON UNIVERSITY MACHINES
You can self-install Adobe on your university owned Mac or PC. Please be aware the amount of software you download impacts the efficiency of your machine, so please be selective and only download what you need.
You have the option to download individual software (e.g. PhotoShop CC) listed below, download a bundle or a combination of both. Available bundles:
Double click your “Macintosh HD” icon found on your desktop → Go into the “Applications” folder → Double click on the “Self Service” icon → Select the Adobe software you want and click “Install” and the installation will begin
Go to your start menu on the lower left hand corner of your screen (may need to click “All Programs”) → Select “ZENworks Application Window” → A ZENworks Window will appear, select “Adobe Creative Cloud” on the left panel → Double click the software you want and the installation will begin
This installation does not require a restart.
ADOBE ALREADY INSTALLED?
These software downloads will simply install the newer versions of Adobe and will not uninstall or replace other versions of Adobe software on your computer. You may be prompted to import certificates from a previous version, simply select “Import”.
Faculty and staff can purchase Adobe “Creative Cloud” for their personally-owned computers through WISC for $19.95 per year. Please visit http://wiscsoftware.wisc.edu/wisc/ and select “Faculty/Staff (Personal Sales)” to purchase. NOTE – If you purchase the software you will have to set up an Adobe account using your UWW email address. To protect yourself and the campus confidential information, DO NOT use the same password as your UW-Whitewater Net-ID password.
Student purchases are not included in this contract. However, they can continue to purchase individual discounted licenses though http://wiscsoftware.wisc.edu/wisc/.
If you experience any problems or issues when downloading, please contact the TSC Helpdesk at (262) 472-4357 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
