Microsoft Office is a collection of office productivity applications designed to allow users to create great-looking documents, spreadsheets, and presentations, manage email, and save time while staying organized. For more information, see http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/default.aspx.

Microsoft Office 2010 includes: Access, Excel, Groove, InfoPath, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Word.

Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac includes: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Campus Availability:

The current versions of Microsoft Office come preinstalled on new and reimaged computers.

Office 2010 for Windows is available for network installation through ZENworks. Office 2011 for Mac is available for network installation through Casper.

Lab Availability:

The current versions of Microsoft Office are installed on computers in each lab on campus.

Home Use:

Faculty and Staff interested in installing Microsoft Office on their home (privately owned) computers, can do so within UW-Whitewater's work-at-home (WAH) licensing agreement. For more information, and step-by-step payment and download instructions, please consult a separate PDF guide (access requires a valid faculty or staff Net-ID login). The use of WAH software is limited to UW-Whitewater faculty and staff, and does NOT extend to students.

Microsoft Office is also available for discounted personal purchase through the Wisconsin Integrated Software Catalog (WISC) at http://wiscsoftware.wisc.edu/wisc/. Software purchased through Personal Sales on WISC does not need to be uninstalled once UW-Whitewater employment ends.
