Total Desktop Care (TDC) is a service that provides for the management of campus computers throughout the entire life cycle: acquisition, installation and setup, redeployment and disposal. TDC helps to:
- Reduce the overall campus costs for computer purchases
- Reduce the time required for departmental staff to configure and order computers
- Ensure the appropriate hardware is purchased to meet the needs of offices and labs
- Deliver computers in a "ready to use" mode
- Redeploy equipment effectively for the university
- Pick up campus computer surplus equipment
- Ensure all personal information is removed from surplus machines before they leave campus
