Other Operating Systems or to Use Manufacturer's Wireless Utilities
There are a variety of wireless enabled devices that might be able to use WPA2/WPA. Additionally, some people prefer to use the wireless management utility provided by their manufacturer. Since we cannot cover every instance, the basic information you may need for WPA2/WPA are:
- Network/SSID: uww-wifi
- Network Authentication Method: WPA2 (sometimes called WPA2-Enterprise, WPA2-PEAP, WPA2-RADIUS). WPA can be used if WPA2 is not available.
- Data Encryption Method: AES (TKIP can be used if AES is not available)
- EAP Type: PEAP
- Phase 2 or Inner Authentication: MSCHAP-V2
If prompted, accept any certificates from carbon.uww.edu or sulfur.uww.edu for authentication purposes.
